Guess who has two thumbs and draws with his right hand while looking at his left hand in order to draw a left hand?
This guy.
*Drops stylus.*
Ah, fuck!

Soo…I’m guessing Anthem healed Maresh from the burning deal so he could beat up barrabon.
Or alternatively, the flames that were roasting Maresh didn’t work because he had cultivation…Meaning as painful as the blue fire was it’s effect ran out, and with that done, Barrabon lost his hold on Maresh, meaning he’s in the process of finally joining Yamra and Guhrahl in death.
This is pretty amazing.
I’m pretty sure this is all Maresh.
Terrifying, terrifying pretty boy Maresh.
Seems he sold his soul to Darumatha for the power to break free from the Tamantha junk that was enslaving him, allowing what sliver of the demon dragon that lingered dormant within him to begin the process of resurrection.
I’m holding out hope that he “stole” cultivation away from its link/dependence on Yamra and Tamantha. Thus allowing humanity to control its own racial science.
The way I read it the flashback on the previous back ended on the last panel. Now we are seeing the results of whatever he discovered while Barrabon was playing at being a super villain. I suspect the flashback was relevant to what is happening now because he did something that technically is against Tamantha. I think he might be a demon now. Or maybe he figured out how to truly work Tamantha. A thing that would be heretical for a believer in Tamantha. A thing that would grant him near god like powers in a world where Tamantha dominates everything.
