Barrabon: muahahaha! A straight fight where I won’t eat a smite!
As your tamanthian superior I hear by find you in error with Tamantha, and subject you to one thousand lashes! Accept or be turned into monsters!
We don’t know how good Barrabon is in an actual fight. I mean, the only times I can remember seeing him fighting is him beating on Maresh, who he has a certain… ability to make disintegrate.
And assaulting one/two fragments of Okidesha might not be the best idea, with the whole “breaking chains” thing she’s got going on.
Great, you follow one terrifying thing, and you end up encountering an EVEN MORE terrifying thing.
Not quite what I was expecting. I thought it would lead them to the captive.

You know, that brings me to thinking…

I think we’ve only seen Barabbon throw down once. We’ve also seen what remains after a fight against him.
I’m not clear what’s happening in panels four and five. What are Corva and Vish doing? What can’t Corva wait for?
Barabbon’s presence is a noxious wind that’s almost physically pushing them back.
I suppose I should have been more clear with my word bubbles! Those are two separate half-formed thoughts–“Can’t…” and “Wait.”
