You’re wrong. Her expression in the third panel is the best part of this whole fictional universe, though I will acknowledge that the glasses have an assist there.
It’s Moron Tusa at it again! I await the look on his face when we see just how poorly that’s going to go for him.
But more importantly-this is an issue, if Yoth gets tied up wih Barrabon, that means the Yiggish art could get mixed into Tamantha, which would screw the Yigs into serving him or lose their powers or something else nasty…
I’m kind of wondering where the other gods are in this. Aleiri the shadow trck thief and Okidesha are helping, but where are the rest, like Narkomex or the Lady of Blades?
“I’m kind of wondering where the other gods are in this. ”
That’s a good question with a complicated answer. Of the two you mentioned, Nacmathorex had strong ties to Yamra. The “Evil Wind” is a sort of culture-god for northern mariners and basically had to serve Yamra or die. Yuenki, Ailari, and Okidesha once constituted a triune, but their relationship is strained because Anthem and Vish managed to kill *two* of her champions (Hokta Chuul and Prince Thrale). The other gods have similarly tangled loyalties: Ganderhelm, Zeth Kahl, and Xoxumoshtli all followed Yamra. Lady Shalnibar is close to Ailari, but also a dangerous Kali-like goddess. Lennesh-Namta can be counted as an ally, but the goddess of tailors and mice doesn’t exactly bring a lot of heavy weapons to a fight. Many of the rest represent abstractions or phenomena that don’t much care about what humans get up to.
I should get the idols talking again. I love those little idols.
I sense that Corva is going to have a long talk with that guy about a lot of things. There might be lots of off-panel cursing.

We assume she followed the implication of it being ABLE to teach them the yiggish science.
