I just realized what Darumatha is made out of. In retrospect, it is pretty obvious.

You have to give Darumatha points for ambition. Most beings don’t even make a good try at becoming gods. Darumatha was working toward both godhood and…I guess entrance into other realities, or something like that. Dream big, you crazy dragon.
