Just what the heck is the knowledge stored in the library that would make Duramatha sacrifice Lady Boraq to destroy it using the black bottle with the curly white swirls and why would the two of them want to prevent the Chuni from leaving when if I recall correctly, Mama Boraq’s the one who planned and ordered it in the first place. Something doesn’t seem to quite add up.
Counterwise, why would Anthem want the Chuni to depart (unless she want to prevent the prevention of it solely because it’s what Duramatha wanted – which isn’t very Anthem-like) and did she have any idea that sacrificing Lyca was the only way to do it?
Maybe it will be clearer on the binge reread once the story is over.
