You may think I’m ripping off Star Wars, but in fact I’m ripping off obscure French comic books that you’ve never even heard of!
*escapes on unicycle, twirling waxed mustache*
+10 internets just for that commentary. Furthermore, I love your work. You probably don’t hear that nearly often enough, but we’re here, we’re just quiet.
Jup.
I actually think that there are enough of us silent lurkers that we should start some kind of forum for the express purpose of talking about this comic. I read it, I badger all of my friends into reading it (though I don’t know which of them do) and I STILL don’t have enough people to whom to babble about it.
So the great king was Gurahl, right? Or do I not understand?
Also Gilgam seems extra-extra bitchy, is this because he expects his sex supply to disappear shortly?
“So the great king was Gurahl, right? Or do I not understand?”
Understanding is not required, only obedience!
Sorry, I’m channeling Gurahl.
(Gurahl, for those who recall WPK’s historical minutia, is Yamra’s long-destroyed predecessor and superior, the Morgoth to his Sauron, as it were.)
And exactly WHAT the Great King was is not clear, even to the Chuni. Gurahl–or one of Gurahl’s greater manifestations, like the greater manifestation of Ailari we saw in Chapter 6–is a popular guess.
And thank you, everyone, for your enthusiasm. I really appreciate it.
Oh I see, the great king is the Chemical Titan, after it assimilated the Chuni King and time-jumped to before the inception of this reality to merge with his negaself and create the universe! Makes perfect sense.
You people have the best commentary.
