Just so everyone knows, there won’t be any updates from the 25th to the 1st. My traffic drops like a stone between those times anyway, so I’m going to spend that time finishing up my scripts.

I also have more on the Island of Yane up on my blog! Read about it here.
Who or what is the x? Darumatha? The fisherman’s wharf thT failed to make fishing into a currency/dragon?
Darumatha’s symbol is the triskelion (see this page, last panel). You’ll find out who the x is soon enough, I promise.
That slave-dragon looks appropriately horrific.
Sooo they basically had the dragon banks set up ‘corrupting’ the people, so Tamantha would target the banks instead of the people, because of all the ‘sinful’ not performing obescence to Tamantha, do I understand how the system worked there originally?
Kinda makes me wonder about why these dragons are ok when Darumatha isn’t.
Not every dragon is corrupt. I mean, yeah, the guy made out of skinned humans, he’s probably not so great. But the system should be regarded as more symbiotic than exploitative. The dragons’ original function was not to avoid Tamantha’s corrosive influence, but to resist the Water Phoenix King militarily and politically.
I absolutely love the look this page gives us at the dragons. I can make out that they seem to deal in weapons, slaves, food, plain old money (maybe just silver?), what looks like gold (including objects, not just coins), and maybe information in the bottom right? Not sure what every single one is, but it’s a wonderful concept.
