So are all dragons formerly money? I thought they were any brand of mineral that came to life.
Just about anything that could be construed as currency. Most are valuable resources (gold, silver, etc.), but dragons can show up whenever a trade good gets ambitious.
So what was the dragon of broken hours before it got ambitious? Time seems to be its domain of power, but that’s not really a tradeable currency, like gold. Well, maybe in a world of magic. . .
Darumatha’s origins haven’t been explored much, actually–they’ll show up, though.
Well, as “one of the chains that bound Okidesha” and in a world where elder races have gone post-scarcity she COULD be time, anything from synthetic time particles that allow stasis generators to function to an immortality serum that “gives someone time.”
But I am merely speculating
