I think that, when working with tint, I need to draw backgrounds and foregrounds separately. That way I can turn the foreground characters one color (in this case, blue) and keep the background objects their normal color.

Occasionally I come across an artist whose work–this stuff is strongly Moebius-inspired, but it stands on its own–makes me say, “yes, I want to do stuff like that.” And I need to remember to link to those artists!
