Y’know, seems kinda odd that all these folks have plots and machinations that don’t, in any way, involve the guy who killed a frickin’ god.
Though I suppose part of his lack of centralized power infrastructure comes from having had to sacrifice everybody loyal to him in a desperate bid to get there.
Or he didn’t want to replace Yamra with himself.
Either way…MY question, is concerning the giant statue thing Jarjuna’s about to slash or stab in the smiling face.
Is that the god Yamra himself? Do all gods have some kinda centralized ‘statue’ that their power springs from?
Presumably Yamra’s physical godbody; all big and inhuman and biologically impossible because that’s how a deity rolls and how he puts on the air of being sublime and perfect divinity.
Although this may only be the halfway mark; I recall earlier chapters implying Yamra took a while to die and the other races getting involved after he was already “half dead.”
