I have a soft-spot for voiceovers. In cinema, directors usually want to keep the camera on the actors while they talk, to keep scene-transitions smooth and because if you’re paying $25 million for an actor, he’d better be able to emote during a narration. Comics, by contrast, are dull if you just show the people talking (unless you’re a real master of expressions), but you can more easily hop around from panel to panel.
