Time for a summary page. I got tired of drawing the sprawling previous-chapter-summaries and decided to do something a little more compressed instead. I spend so much time in the 3×3 grid that breaking out, even in a small way, is a real pleasure, so I’ll definitely be doing something like this again. I stick to the grid because my goal in WPK is to learn how to draw–not design or lay out, but to manage anatomy, perspective, and panel-by-panel composition. Still, it’s always fun to do something different, and messing around with design is its own type of fun.
Some damn fine looking grid lines there. And I like the paneled colors, too. Heh, an excess of cleverness.
I did not know Vish was a Chaos angel and had upside down wings. Interesting…
I really like this style. The combination of character page and get-you-up-to-speed summary page allows a new reader just jumping in to catch on without having to read all the past pages, and yet leaves enough out to make going into the archives worth it.
