Not entirely happy with the “zoom lines” on this page. But I hope it’s at least clear what’s happening with Vish’s wacky travel magic.

interesting, I can see how gravity/inertia would fall under the purview of “travel”… and the fix-one-cliffhanger-with-a-worse-one policy continues as does the running-parallel-cliffhangers. Yay for blowing-things-up-good and Sir Commito’s return, but none of this looks promising! (The only thing that makes me the least optimistic is a glimpse of local classical architectural adornment back in Book 1 in conjunction with geography…)
I’m going to remember that “turn gravity sideways” trick next time I DM a D&D or Urban Arcana game. Something interesting to keep players on their toes (or elbows, or backs, or faces, depending on which direction they happen to be facing at the time).
Good work, as always, and I’m now both wondering how Corva’s doing as well as looking forward to seeing how Anthem’s scheme turns out.
Again affirming that Gilgam could be played by Jason Gordon Levitt. Jailbreak a la Inception.
