Oh man, this was a fun page to draw. I didn’t screw up too much, either. The perspective in the bottom panel isn’t perfect, but I think I managed to convey some of the energy Corva brings to hitting a dude in his ugly brass face with a hatchet.
This is one of those scenes that, if I had some other poor fool drawing my comic, I’d extend to five or even ten pages: just panel after panel of fighting off waves of stonebacks, half-changed, and apprentices, all up and down the fort. Sadly, I do not have a roster of personal art thralls, so you’ll have to suffer through scenes of abridged mayhem. But hey, I think four panels is the lowest number of panels I’ve ever had in a fight scene, so you can actually see what’s going on for once.
