The astute reader will observe that I totally wimped out on backgrounds here. I’m currently in the midst of editing (something entirely different from WPK), so morale was low, I have to admit. The page turned out okay, though I wish I could’ve done more to offer a feeling of space and distance. Panel 7, for example, was supposed to show Gilgam bounding up the steps where Anthem is standing, but…yeah…five sketches later, that wasn’t happening. So you get a close-up.
